Matthew "Matt" Hauser, born on April 3, 1998, in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia, is known for his explosive speed, tactical intelligence, and resilience. Hauser has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young triathletes on the international stage.
Matthew competed in the Tokyo Olympics, finishing 24th, before grabbing a top ten berth in the Super League Triathlon 2021 Championship Series standings. His outstanding swim also saw him collect the blue jersey and a $20,000 bonus for his efforts.
In 2024, Mathew took 7th at the Paris Olympic Games and was set to chase the “W” at the 2024 World Championships when a crash took him out of the running. While not able to compete Boston and Neom, Matt was a critical part of the team and often grabbed much needed swim points to help Podium Racing secure 2nd place over in the series.
